These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of foxcarparts.com (the “Site”) and any purchases you make from us.

1) Definitions
Consumer means an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Business Customer means any other customer. Products means goods shown for sale on the Site. Working Day means Monday–Friday excluding UK public holidays.
2) Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Products. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activities under your account.
3) Ordering & Contract Formation
- Placing an order. Add Products to cart and complete checkout. You can review and amend your order before payment.
- Acknowledgement. We will email an order acknowledgement. This is not acceptance.
- Acceptance. A binding contract is formed when we dispatch the Products and send a dispatch confirmation. We may decline all or part of an order (e.g., for stock, pricing or fraud reasons). If we cannot accept, we will refund any payment taken.
- Information. Please ensure your contact, delivery details and vehicle details (where provided) are accurate.
4) Pricing, VAT & Promotions
- Prices. Prices are shown in GBP and include UK VAT (where applicable) unless stated otherwise. Delivery costs are shown at checkout.
- Errors. We take care to ensure accuracy but pricing/availability errors may occur. If we discover an error after you order, we will contact you to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel and refund.
- Promotions. Vouchers/coupons cannot be exchanged for cash, may have expiry and cannot be combined unless stated. We may withdraw offers at any time.
- International orders. You are responsible for any local taxes/duties where applicable.
5) Payment & Fraud Prevention
We accept major cards and other methods shown at checkout (processed by trusted payment providers). Payment is taken at order placement or dispatch depending on method. We may use automated tools and manual checks to prevent fraud and may cancel orders we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent.
6) Delivery, Risk & Title
- Dispatch. Orders placed before our daily cut-off on Working Days are usually dispatched the same day. Delivery is usually next Working Day in the UK via a tracked service. Timeframes are estimates and not of the essence.
- Tracking & missed delivery. We provide tracking where available. Couriers will provide redelivery/collection options if you miss a delivery.
- Risk & Title. Risk in the Products passes on delivery. Title passes once we receive full cleared payment.
- Inspection. Please check parcels on delivery and report any visible damage to the courier and to us as soon as reasonably possible.
7) Compatibility, Installation & Safety (Car Parts)
Important: Vehicle parts must be correctly specified and installed. Improper selection or installation can cause damage or injury.
- Compatibility checks. Use your vehicle make/model/year/engine and, where requested, provide your registration (number plate). We can assist but final responsibility for confirming fitment rests with you unless we have confirmed compatibility in writing for your specific VIN/registration.
- Professional installation. We recommend installation by a qualified professional mechanic using manufacturer specifications (e.g., torque settings, fluids). Keep proof of installation for warranty claims.
- Electrical/airbag/braking components. Extra caution is required; some items should only be installed by licensed professionals. Disconnect batteries and follow OEM procedures.
- Performance/aftermarket parts. Some parts may be intended for off-road/show use only; check local laws and your insurance terms.
- No consequential coverage. We are not responsible for costs arising from incorrect fitment, labour, diagnostics, towing, or damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or running with incorrect fluids.
8) Cancellations, Returns & Refunds (Consumers)
- Your legal cancellation rights (distance sales). Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) / EU consumer law, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your contract without giving a reason. You must inform us of your decision to cancel within that period (email or our form is fine). You then have 14 days to return the goods.
- Our store policy (more generous): We offer 30-day returns from delivery. For change-of-mind returns, you pay return postage. If the item is faulty/incorrect, we cover reasonable return costs or provide a prepaid label.
- Condition. Return items unused, in original packaging with all accessories. We may deduct for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
- Exclusions. No return (unless faulty) for: custom/personalised parts; sealed items (e.g., electronics/fluids) once unsealed; items contaminated by oil/fluids after installation; goods that by nature cannot be returned.
- Refunds. We will refund the price paid (and the least expensive standard outbound delivery cost, where the entire order is cancelled within 14 days) within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of receiving evidence of return, using the original payment method.
- How to return. Email us with your order number and reason for return. Use a tracked service and retain proof of postage.
- Business Customers. Where you purchase in the course of business, statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply. Our discretionary returns policy may apply; contact us.
9) Faulty Goods & Legal Guarantees
- Consumer rights. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) / EU consumer law apply. If goods are faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
- Timeframes. Short-term right to reject within 30 days (UK) for faults present at delivery; otherwise repair/replace in the first instance.
- Assessment. We may test the item or consult the manufacturer. If no fault is found, we may return the item to you and may charge reasonable costs.
- Damage & misuse. Faults caused by incorrect installation, misuse, modification, racing, or neglect are not covered.
10) Manufacturer Warranties
Many Products carry a manufacturer’s warranty (typically 12 months). Terms vary by brand. Keep your proof of purchase and any installation invoices. Manufacturer decisions on warranty claims may require inspection/testing. This warranty is in addition to your legal rights.
11) Liability & Disclaimer
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability which cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
- Subject to the above, we are not liable for: (a) loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; (b) business interruption; (c) loss of anticipated savings; (d) loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; (e) indirect or consequential loss; (f) costs of labour/installation or removal; (g) damage resulting from improper installation or use contrary to guidelines.
- For Consumers, if we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence, but we are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
- For Business Customers, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a contract shall be limited to the price paid for the relevant Products.
12) Intellectual Property & Reviews
All content on the Site (text, images, logos) is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by IP laws. You may not copy or use it without permission. If you submit a review or content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display it on the Site and in marketing, and you confirm you own or have rights to the content you submit.
13) Prohibited Use
You must not misuse the Site, introduce malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use the Site in any way that infringes laws or third-party rights.
14) Third-Party Services
We may integrate third-party services (payment gateways, couriers, live chat). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.
15) Privacy & Cookies
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
16) Changes to the Terms & the Service
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the Site with the effective date. Changes do not affect existing contracts already formed. We may modify or discontinue features with or without notice to maintain or improve the service.
17) Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Disputes
- These Terms and any contract for sale of Products are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a Consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you may benefit from mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
- Courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers may bring proceedings in their local courts where required by law.
- EU/EEA Consumers may use the European Commission’s ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our email: info@foxcarparts.com.

19) Additional Terms for Business Customers
- Basis of sale. These Terms apply to the exclusion of any other terms that you seek to impose or which are implied by trade, custom, practice or course of dealing.
- Delivery & acceptance. Delivery occurs when Products are unloaded at your premises or collected by you/your carrier. You must inspect on delivery and notify us of shortages/damage within 3 Working Days.
- Risk & title. Risk passes on delivery. Title passes on receipt of full payment for the Products. Until title passes, you must store the Products separately and ensure they are identifiable as ours, and we may recover them if you fail to pay.
- Warranties. We warrant that Products will conform in all material respects to their description and be free from material defects in materials and workmanship on delivery. We exclude all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Limitation of liability. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant Products. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill.
20) General
- Events outside our control. We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including strikes, lockdowns, extreme weather, transport or supply issues).
- Severance. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in force.
- No waiver. A failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
- Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under a contract to another organisation; we will notify you. You may only transfer with our consent (Consumers may transfer our warranty to a purchaser of the product).
- Entire agreement. For Business Customers, these Terms and any order confirmation constitute the entire agreement.
- Notices. We may contact you by email or to your account address. You can contact us using the details above.
Key Customer Summary (non-contractual)
- Same-day dispatch on Working Days for orders placed before our cut-off; tracked UK delivery usually next Working Day.
- 30-day returns (customer pays return postage for change of mind). Faulty/incorrect items: we cover reasonable return costs.
- For safe operation and to preserve warranty, use qualified professional installation and follow OEM specs.
- Your statutory rights under UK/EU law are not affected.
